Mr. Meyer has over 24 years DOD leadership experience in program management, systems acquisition, analysis of alternatives, and business case analysis. This includes supporting various DOD Communications Systems and IT projects with requirements analysis, design, test, implementation, and technical documentation. Mr. Meyer has been leading analyses and developing capability documentation within the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) for large Navy and Joint acquisition programs including support for the Navy Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. Mr. Meyer’s experience includes leading the PMW 790 Network Operations Center (NOC) Efficiencies project, Navy Shore Tactical Assured Command and Control (STACC), United States Naval Observatory (USNO), Military Sealift Command (MSC), Deployable Joint Command and Control (DJC2), Joint Information Environment (JIE), Naval Networking Environment (NNE), DOD Teleport, Consolidated Afloat Networking Enterprise Services (CANES), Multinational Information Sharing (MNIS), Marine Corps Enterprise IT Services (MCEITS), Marine Corps Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Logistics Command and Control (C2), and Navy/Joint SATCOM initiatives and programs. He holds a BA in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from the University of Maryland University College (UMUC). Mr. Meyer began his career as a Marine Corps Officer with occupational specialties in Infantry and Supply. Mr. Meyer is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
